The Scenes from marital life is a theater performance by Ingmar Bergman, directed by Ana Tomovic. The performance was organized on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the greatest Swedish director.
About the play The Scenes from marital life
Johan and Mariana are married for 10 years, they live a comfortable life, have two daughters and success on a professional and private plan. Johan is a professor of applied psychology, and Mariana is a divorce attorney. Their relationship, which, outwardly speaking, works ideally breaks into a pieces when Johan falls in love with young Paola.
The play was directed by Ana Tomovic, and played by Tamara Krcunovic and Milos Timotijevic.
The 1978 movie is one of Bergman’s most beloved and most viewed works, where he speaks with great sincerity about himself and his thirty-year-old marital experience.
Ingmar Bergman has influenced the whole world with his masterpieces in the field of film, theater and literature. In 2018, the 100th anniversary of his birth was celebrated all over the world.
