Hungarians all over the world, celebrate their national holiday St. Istvan as a remembrance of one of the most important rulers of Hungary, the founder of the Hungarian state, the uniter of all Hungarians, and the one who contributed to enlightenment the nation. St. Istvan is celebrated as the founder of Christianity in Hungary and the founder of the Hungarian state, that is, as the first unite of all Hungarians.
